🏈 What is NFeLementary?

NFeLementary is a project-based learning curriculum that uses the excitement of the NFL season to bring learning to life. It’s not meant to replace your core instruction — it’s an in addition to it.

NFeLementary is cross-curricular and integrates:

  • 📚 Reading & writing
    - ➗ Math
    - 🌍 Social studies & geography
    - 🔎 Research
    - 🎨 Art & creativity
    - 💥 Real-world engagement & social emotional learning 

It makes school feel meaningful, relevant, and fun.

💫 How do students benefit from NFeLementary?

This is where the magic really happens.

Not only does NFeLementary get kids excited about school — they become invested in their learning. They are so eager to research and motivated to learn, it’s no wonder their reading levels soar. And that engagement? It spills over into everything else you teach.

But it’s not just about academics.

They learn how to win with grace, lose with maturity, and keep pushing when things don’t go their way. They start encouraging each other, taking ownership of their learning, and showing up differently — not just as students, but as teammates and thinkers.

This project builds classroom community, confidence, and a sense of purpose. It becomes the heartbeat of your classroom — and it’s absolutely beautiful to watch unfold.

🧠 What grade level is this for?

NFeLementary was designed with 3rd through 5th grade in mind, but it’s totally adaptable across grade levels! 

  • Some of our younger grades (like 1st) use it as a whole group activity, tracking one team together and focusing more on class discussions, stat tracking, and fun — with less emphasis on the research and writing side.

  • Meanwhile, upper grades and even middle schoolers take the extended activities and run with them — adding more complex math, diving deeper into independent research, writing detailed reports, and analyzing data.

You can do as much or as little as works for your class. The curriculum is built to bend with your teaching style and your students’ needs!

🔄 Is it cross-curricular? What if I only teach one subject?

Yes! NFeLementary is fully cross-curricular — blending reading, writing, math, geography, and research into one cohesive experience.

We are currently working on subject-specific expansion packs (name pending 😉) for teachers who only teach one subject. These will be geared toward:

- 📘 Reading-only teachers
- ➗ Math-only teachers
- 🌎 Social studies teachers
- And more!

 So whether you're departmentalized or self-contained, you can make it work for your setup and give your students a really meaningful experience.

The version available on my site is for single classroom use only, as noted in the terms and conditions.
